Hi everyone, This is my first time here and my first post. I was given this equipment from my father's estate and to be honest, I have no idea what they are other than the obvious, they are speakers. My father, a product of the thirties(born 1915), loved music and loved to listen to fine music, which is why he had this stuff. I, myself, not so much. I like music, but I'm not picky on the sound quality. I'm not sure if I'll keep any of this equipment, but I'd like to know what it is, and if it has any value these days of high tec gadgits out there. Thank you in advance.
p.s. I'm attempting to put up photos.

Do you have any "pairs"?
If you're looking for a good home where the stuff will be well cared for and appreciated, offer it for sale on this board.
If you're looking for "top dollar" and are willing to go thru the time and effort of proper packing for shipping, everything you have sells regularly on ebay, sometimes for far more than many of us here would agree is the actual "value".
Where are you located?
Many of us here appreciate being able to find things locally, thus avoiding the damage potential and expense of shipping.
Not all vegetables make good leaders.
Hey first...Welcome!
Some nice old stuff...
If you can't get all the photos up post a complete list so it can be all addressed at one shot...this should BTW be in the for sale thread, there is a specific thread for these type posts at the top..it's called a "sticky"
As it is we have two posts, the second should have been posted as a reply to the first...
A good thing to do with lots of pics is put up an online album...I use photobucket...then just post a link to the album...you can then do a hundred pics if you want...
If we do help you sell the stuff...Todd does the board on a volunteer basis, a few bucks to help him defray costs is always welcome...
I would be happy to get you within a range of what the stuff will sell for...
Your neighbors called. They like your music.
Hello, I am currently located in central New Jersey. I removed these speakers from 2 bulky cabinets for they were signifigantly too large for transportation. I was careful with handling the speaker: curtians/fabric (Cone), they have not a single bit of damage. All of the paint is in mint condition, and they were properly cared for. I have read about some of these models with pin holes or tears but these have neither. There is only one of each, once again I have all the hardware (crossover/network.) I might build my own cabinets and link them to an old receiver, although I wish to know what I have. (I would like to either use them myself, or find a person whom would value them as much as my father.)
r.e.,
I will give you $200 bucks for the pair of 604C's, I will pay for the shipping , just for your trouble......

Thank you for the offer, but I only have 1 of each speaker. Please look at my detailed photos for this is all I have. I am not sure of the value yet, plus I don't know if I am ready to part with my dad's equipment just yet.
Having only singles makes them harder to value...it really is what somebody needing a match or replacement is willing to pay...
Here is a link to catalog...
1954 HOME
Yours may not be as old as that catalog- look for a number starting 391...
Nest digit after 391 is year, then next two are week.
